Brenda Joyce Belcher, 73, of Kyles Ford, TN, received the best Christmas gift, a new glorified body and a new home, on December 24, 2018, surrounded by family. She professed faith in Christ at an early age at Compromise Missionary Baptist Church. She was a faithful member of Livesay’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as clerk for more than 35 years.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Wiley and Monnie Gibson; her brothers, Dana and George Gibson; her sister, Laura Watkins; and infant granddaughter, TeDra Kinsler.
Left to mourn is her loving husband of 54 years, Tom Belcher; her children, Lisa Darlene (Jason) Mathis, Tommy (Deanise) Belcher, and Tammie Wallen (Jack Mullins); her grandchildren, Natasha (Lynn) Campbell, Josh (Jill) Belcher, Whitney (Josh) Fleenor, Tara (Nick) West, Samantha (Stetson) Sexton, and Kennedy Wallen; her great-grandchildren, Raelyn and Maelie Campbell, Noah, Jacob, Paisley, Violet, and Grant Belcher, Tennyson and Jagger Fleenor, Cadence West, Silan and Slate Sexton; her brothers, Rev. Doug (Bernice) Gibson and Elmer (Rose) Gibson; and her special nephew, Randall Gibson.
Brenda loved to sing about Jesus, where she sang alto with the Gospel Four Quartet for the past 40 years.
The family would like to say thank you to Hancock Home Health and Avalon Hospice Care and a special thank you to her nurse, Pam Conner.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Livesay’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

Interment will follow in the Highland Cemetery, Rogersville, Tn.
