CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Walter Frederick Evans, 91, passed away December 24, 2018. He was a lifelong Cuyahoga Falls resident graduating from Falls High in 1945. Walter was a World War II veteran serving his country in the U.S. Navy. He retired from Ford Motor Co. after 30 years of service.
He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing. Walter was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Aldine; two brothers and three sisters; he is survived by his children, Arlene (Larry) Thompson, Gail Evans and Jeff Evans; grandchildren, Laura (Jason), Ben (Amy), Tara, Scott (Amanda), Jacklyn, Colin, Adam and Andy; ten great-grandchildren.
Friends may call one hour prior to an 11 a.m. funeral service on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
