Rebecca L. Lang, 62, of St. Johnsbury, Vt. formerly of Littleton, N.H., passed away with her family by her side on December 23, 2018, at UVM Medical Center from complications of pneumonia compounded by chronic illness.

Becky was born in Laconia, N.H., on June 11, 1956, to Malcolm E. Lang and Wilma (Arnold) Cargal, and was raised in East Hampton, Conn. from the age of 12 by her step-mom, Marie Lang and her dad, Malcolm. She was educated in Connecticut graduating from East Hampton High School in the Class of 1975.

Becky has lived in the area since 1995 and worked at Hitchners as a machine operator until 2005 and then at a local convenience store as head cashier until 2008 when an accident prevented her from continuing to work.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, and doing Crosswords and Word Finds. She loved “cook-outs and the great outdoors,” fishing and spending time at the lake. Becky also liked animals, with a special fondness for cats which she kept until moving to the nursing home.

She is survived by her father, Malcolm E. Lang; her daughter; her sister, two brothers.

She was pre-deceased by her step-mom, Marie Lang in 2014.

Burial will take place in the spring at the Danville Green Cemetery.
