Thelma Densmore Ivey, of Double Springs passed away November 12, 2011 in Double Springs, Alabama.
She was a member of Mt. Ebron Baptist Church for 85 years.
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 17, 2011 from 11 am-2 pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where services will begin at 2:00 pm. Burial will be in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Double Springs.
She is survived by her daughter, Jo Ann N. Ivey; grandchildren, Michael Dale Ivey, Shelia Ann Ivey, Tanya Lynn Hayes, Donna Denise Denton, Gary Wayne Ivey, Brian Wayne Newton and Phillip Shawn Newton; great grandchildren, Kylie Ivey, Tanner Ivey, Hayden Hayes, Adam Denton, Jason Newton, Zakery Newton, Alex Ivey, Alyssa Ivey, Kayla Smith; 5 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Norman Ivey; parents, Cleve and Rachel Densmore; sons, Shellie Kenneth Ivey and James Donald Ivey; grandsons, Kenneth and Glenn Ivey. She was the last of six brothers and one sister
