Estelle was preceded in death by her beloved late husband of over 60 years, Eddie Williams Jr. the love of her life. She was also preceded in death by two sons; Louis Dabon, Milfred James Dabon, and her siblings, Alma Thomas (Freeman), Alfred Ned Jr. (Artemise), Mary Rogers (Charles).
Estelle leaves, to cherish her memory, granddaughter, Daryl Dabon Jarvis (John), her great-granddaughter, Angel Dominique Dabon, her great niece, Thomasina Nicholas (William), nieces Jacqueline Ned (Stanford), Artemise Ned (Gary), and nephews, Edgar Ned, Sr. (Shirley), Jeremiah Ned, Sr. (JoAnn), Elias Ned (Betty), her beloved Geraldine McCloud (Joseph), and a host of nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews and cousins.
“Stella” as she was affectionately known, gave her life to Christ at an early age, and was a devoted member of Greater Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, and 1st Thessalonians Baptist in the Lower 9th Ward.
Estelle was the Matriarch, Protector and Defender of her family. She cared for all who needed her, whether it was family, friends, or church members. She was an avid community activist and also a life time member of the NAACP.
