Dennis Wesley Duncan, age 64, of Mattoon passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at his residence.
Funeral Services honoring his life will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Schilling Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
Dennis was born on July 31, 1954 in Mattoon the son of Roland and Dorothy (Young) Duncan.
Survivors include his daughter, Sarah (Dave) Roberts of Alpharetta, GA; granddaughters, Madison and Hannah Roberts; sister, Diane Duncan of Yorktown, IN; nephew, Ross (Meredith) Carpenter; great nephews and niece, Corbin and Piper and Nathaniel Carpenter (fiancé, Megan Grey). Dennis was preceded in death by his parents.
Dennis was employed as a supervisor at the Telephone Company and worked in sales. He enjoyed watching sports. Most of all, Dennis cherished spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
Memorial donations in his honor may be given to the Peace Meal Senior Nutrition Program, 694 Castle Drive, Charleston, IL 61920.
