Ronald G. “R.G” Walters, age 74, Coatesville, passed away Monday morning at his residence. He was born in Coatesville on March 26, 1944 the son of James R. and Merle A. Stewart Walters. He retired from Chrysler after 30 years of service. He belonged to the Masons and was a Shriner. He was the former president of the Coatesville Town Council. He sold monuments for Wearly Monuments for several years. He had been a buyer of ginseng and furs. He loved mushroom hunting, gardening, traveling, antiques, and was a coon hunter. He is survived by his finance’, Judith Allee, Coatesville; brother – Glen E. Walters, Coatesville; and sisters, Carolyn (Mike) Kelley, Coatesville, and Wanda (Michael) Jones, AZ; 1 niece and 3 nephews; 4 great-nephews and 2 great-nieces.
