Audry Mae Lewis Jackson, 78, a native and resident of Larose, LA, passed away peacefully at 9:50 a.m. on Friday, December 21, 2018.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 13841 E. Main Street in Larose. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Yarnell Jackson (Veronica); daughter, Troyelene J. Wallace (Gary); ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; brothers, Wilber Lewis (Mary), Anthony Lewis (Debra), Rayfield Lewis (Kathy), Charles Lewis, Herman Lewis, Jr. (Kathy); sisters, Geraldine Mattear (Earl), Mildred Hogan and Velma Marie Lewis; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas James Jackson; daughter, Jane J. Daniels; great granddaughter, Kyrah Jane Shepherd; parents, Herman, Sr. and Gladys Marts-Lewis; brother, Kenneth Lewis; and sister, Shirley L. Mounsey.
