Monte Carrol Brown, age, 45, of Knoxville, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 21, 2018.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Winfield Funeral Home in Knoxville at 7:00 P.M. Monte's family will be present to greet friends and relatives beginning at 5:00 P.M. until the start of service.
Those left to cherish Monte’s memory include his brother, Tony (Tammi) Brown of Milo; sister, Melissa Brown of Oskaloosa; brother-in-law, Bryan Brees of Oskaloosa; numerous nieces and nephews: Christopher(Allison) Brown, Josh Brees, Paige (Trent) Davis, Abby Brees, Madison Brown, Hunter (Cassie) VanHaalen, Scout VanHaalen, Easton VanHaalen, Kelsee VanHaalen, Gauge VanHaalen, Kylee VanHaalen-Brown, and many other relatives and friends.
Monte is preceded in death by his parents: Roger and Patricia (VandeKamp) Brown; sister, Michelle Brees; grandparents: Ralph and Bernice Brown, Glen and Bernita VandeKamp; and niece, Haley Brees.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Monte’s memory to his family.
