Charles "Will" Farrar

Charles "Will" Farrar, 53, native of Sulphur, La., passed away in an accident on Monday, Sept. 25, 2017, in Destin, Fla.

Will received a B.S. degree from McNeese State University. He earned many other certifications through the years. Once out of college, Will began his career as a project manager for an international firm in Houston. He then went on to work for E&E, a well-respected international environmental firm. He was transferred to their Baton Rouge office for over 25 years until his unexpected death. He managed numerous projects/programs for the Gulf Coast Region and was a mentor to many. He practiced his faith by being a good steward of the earth and helping others.

He leaves behind his loving wife; his two children; he was a native of Sulphur and also leaves behind his mother, Jackie Farrar of Sulphur; three sisters, Anne Farrar of Sulphur, Kathleen Nichols and husband Terry of Merryville and Maureen Armentor and husband Jeff of Lake Charles; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives; many dear friends; his E&E family; and his beloved pets.

His father, Raymond Farrar, preceded him in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated by Father Cleo Milano, will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church located at 445 Marquette Ave., Baton Rouge, La., with visitation from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. A reception will follow at the OLOM's Parish Activity Center.
