Marcia L. Williams, age 74, died peacefully on December 14, 2018 at home, after a long struggle with diabetes and heart disease.

Marcia was born on January 20, 1944 in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of Racie M. Williams and Dorothy M. Page – Williams.

Marcia thoroughly enjoyed athletics and outdoors. She had a love for antiques and horses. Throughout her life she remain active and passionate about her family and friends. Marcia graduated from Warrensburg High School and attended Richland Community College.

In 1962 she married James E. Meadows and raised their four children. Marcia began her career working for Caterpillar, Inc. as a drafting technician for thirty-five years until she retired.

Marcia was a lifelong member of Peoples Church of God. Family and friends were Marcia passion and delight. She thoroughly enjoyed her retirement, traveling, gardening and anything to do with her grandchildren.

Marcia is survived by her children, James E. Meadows, Carole J. Donaldson, Leigh M. Meadows, and Laura K. (Charles) Brooks. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tyler J. (Seanine) Donaldson, Kameron Cravens, Kinsley Ignozzi and Henry Meadows and her brother John D. (Donna) Williams. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren and numerous loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister and brother in-law, Maxine and Howard Mooney.

Marcia was a beloved, mother, friend, writer, giver, caretaker, volunteer, traveler, however, most importantly she had a selfless heart who had an amazing wit and sense of humor, which will never be replaced. She will truly be missed by many. We will never forget your beautiful smile and laugh.
