Dave previously served as a volunteer firefighter with the Lincoln Fire Protection District for more than 20 years, holding the rank of Lieutenant. His enjoyment of the outdoors was evident as he often helped on the family farm, was a deer and turkey hunter, participated in 3-D bow shoots with friends, and was frequently seen out on his Harley-Davidson for a ride. Dave was content being at home, enjoying the company of his dogs, and sharing quality time with his family as a loving and devoted son, husband and father.
