Brenda G. West, 58, of Cory, Indiana passed away at her home, surrounded by her family, on December 21, 2018 following a brief battle with cancer. She was born on March 1, 1960, in Indianapolis, Indiana the daughter of Jerry and Peggy (Sears) Demaree.
Brenda graduated from Clay City High School with the class of 1978. Brenda had been working for Baesler’s Market for the past several years. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jerry and Peggy Demaree, a son Joshua Ray West, and a sister Cindy Stantz.
Brenda leaves behind her husband Everett Wayne West whom she married on March 12, 1978; two daughters: Jamie Raulston and husband Shilo of Centerpoint and Haleigh Withrow and husband Kyle of Lewis; grandchildren: Evee Raulston, Hadee Raulston, Tilee Raulston, and Konner Withrow; siblings: Jerry Demaree, Shari Nicoson, Regina Dickison, Joe Demaree, and Bill Demaree; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave. Brazil, Indiana 47834, on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 11-1. Services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00pm with Pastor Steve Wingert officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
