THE BUCKLIN HERALD-Aug. 31, 1917-Obituary-Mrs. Anna Davis Kerby, wife of Chas. Kerby, died at her home one-half mile northwest of Bucklin, Monday morning at two o'clock. She had been ailing a long time and her death was not unexpected. She knew well her condition and had made preparation to meet her God in peace. Mrs. Kerby was in the twenty-seventh year of her age. She leaves, besides her husband, two children, a boy and a girl. Her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. J.S. Davis, are living. She was of gentle loving spirit and leaves many friends. There was a service of song and prayer at the home Tuesday at 10:45 by Rev. Moore, after whice the remains were taken to Pleasant Grove where Elder Ford, an old acquaintance and pastor of her childhood, conducted a funeral service. The burial was in Pleasant Grove cemetery. Children: Naomia and Hubert Kerby.
