Born June 23, 1921, in Logan Township, she was a daughter of the late James and May (Longnecker) Hoffer. She was united in marriage to Paul Cunningham in July 1940. Mr. Cunningham preceded her in death.
Mrs. Cunningham is survived by three children, Trudy Manly of Alexandria, Ronda O’Bryan and husband, James, of Berlin, Maryland, and Glen Cunningham and wife, Jean, of Huntingdon; grandchildren, Susan Hood and husband, Tory, Jeffrey Manly and wife, Christie, Stephanie O’Bryan and husband, Ken Butterfield, Justine Dohring and husband, Dan, Daphne Velazquez and husband, Edgar, Dorea Cunningham and Shanna Kipnis and husband, Aaron; and greatgrandchildren, Sarah Manly, Steven Manly, Alexa Spigelmyer, Kiera Butterfield, Carlyn Butterfield, Lilly Kipnis and Leah Kipnis.
She is also survived by a sister, Ethel Guyer of Altoona.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, P. Phillip Manly, April 15, 2012; four sisters and a brother.
Mrs. Cunningham was a member of McAlevys Fort Presbyterian Church.
During her life, she was primarily a homemaker, but had been employed at the former Petersburg Transformer and Boalsburg Transformer. Following retirement, she worked in the cafeteria of the former Jackson-Miller Elementary School.
Mrs. Cunningham enjoyed vegetable gardening, sewing and crocheting.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 5, at Henderson Funeral Home, 3813 W. Main St., Belleville, with the Rev. Dan Morris officiating. Interment will be made in McAlevys Fort Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
