Nadine Catherine Badertscher, a homemaker who lived in Clark County since 1940, died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2003, in Vancouver. She was 90.

Mrs. Badertscher was born June 6, 1913, in Spokane. Her maiden name was Burke.

Her husband, Elmer J., died in 1998.

Survivors include one daughter, Shari Lamm of Vancouver; one son, Darrell of Washougal; one sister, Bonnie McGruder of Alabama; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Badertscher was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Camas and a member and past president of Vancouver Woman's Club. She enjoyed playing the piano, gardening and traveling.

Recitation of the rosary will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Thomas Catholic Church. A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. The casket will be open from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel.
