On Thursday, December 20, 2018 Catherine (Cathy) Ann Bennett, loving sister and aunt, passed away at the age of sixty. Cathy was born January 24, 1958 in Anaconda to James and Helen (Manion) Bennett. Cathy graduated from Anaconda High School and moved from Anaconda to Helena in her late twenties.
Cathy worked at Helena Industries for 32 years. She was very proud of her professional life at Helena Industries and she received tremendous support while employed there.
Cathy was preceded in death by her father James, her mother Helen and her brother-in-law Bob English.
She is survived by her sister Joan English, sister Eileen (Bob) Johnson, brother James (Karen) Bennett of Ocala, Florida and brother Ken (Pat) Bennett of Hailey, Idaho. Many beloved nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and cousins survive.
Cathy’s family would like to thank the staff at Invigorate (formerly Genesis) for their compassion, friendship, and care of Cathy in the last few months of her life.
Cathy had many friends throughout her lifetime. She was kind and never judgmental of anyone. She loved everyone for who they were. Cathy loved birthdays, never forgetting to send a special card.
A celebration of Cathy’s life and birthday will take place on January 26, 2019 beginning at St. Ann’s Parish at mass at 11 am.
