He was the son of Charles Kemp and Rosa Lee Traw Kemp. Brother Jerry Kemp. Mother remarried in 1956 to James Wade and they had JoLinda Wade and Debra Wade. In 1971 in a terrible auto accident his mother. sister JoLinda and step father James Wade were killed in Gallup, New Mexico.
Charles was born in Kansas and by 1956 had moved to southern California and was raised there. After school he spent 2 years in the Navy and was honorably discharged.
He married Bobbie Walker in 1974 and was blessed with 2 daughters JoLinda and Amber. They moved to the Seattle area of Washington. The marriage dissolved. He then had a daughter Debby. He again married in 1977 to Laura Jones and had a son David. that marriage dissolved. In 1987 he again married to Willeen 'Willie' Braswell who survives him.
He died in Mt Carmel Hospital in Coville, Washington.
