Martha was a daughter of the late Henry A. and Bertha E. (Roe) Melching. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 71 ½ years, H. John Bradley on June 16, 2011; a son, Dennis Bradley; a daughter, Karen (Lee) Hunt; two brothers, Clarence E. Melching and an infant; and a sister, Corena Whaley.

Martha was a retired clerk at the former Hub Department Store in Steubenville. She was a member of the New Alexandria United Methodist Church; the United Methodist Women; the New Alexandria Community Chapel Guild, the Liberty Grange, the Heart of Ohio Tole in Columbus, OH and volunteered at Trinity Medical Center East.

She is survived by two sons; three daughters; a daughter-in-law; fourteen grandchildren; twenty seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 712 Third St., Brilliant, on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. and also on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of her funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with her grandsons, Bill and Lee Paul Hunt, officiating. Interment will follow at New Alexandria Cemetery.
