Rebekah Joy Rogers – age 32 of Knoxville passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018. Rebekah was a graduate of the University of Tennessee where she graduated with honors in political science in 2009. She was also a lifelong believer in our Lord Jesus Christ and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She was employed by 21st mortgage as a senior financial counselor. She was preceded in death by her fathers, Warren R. Webster, Roy L. Rogers, and Bob Tipton; grandparents, Bruce and Joy Hodge, Coy and Lucille Rogers; aunt, Jeanette Ramsey; and cousin, Doug Morgan. She is survived by her mother, Jewell Rogers-Jenkins; step-father, Doug Jenkins; sisters, Julie Sherrod (Kevin Fox), and Ashley Rogers; nephews, Connor Sherrod, Elijah Rogers, Langston Fox; nieces, Destiny Powers, and Sadie “Sadie-bug” Faw; godchildren, London Byrne, Cooper Miller, and Luke Miller. She is also survived by many friends and her 21st mortgage family whom she dearly loved. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Friday, December 28, 2018, at Bridges Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM officiated by Rev. Charlie Lynch. Family and friends will meet 11:15 AM on Saturday, December 29, 2018, at Bridges Funeral Home, to go in procession, for a 12:00 PM interment at Eastview Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be; Connor Sherrod, Elijah Rogers, Kevin Fox, Johnathan Moran, Blake Ryman, and Dusty Miller.
