Thomas Graham "Tom" Windham, 87, a retired salesman, died Monday, May 1 7, 2004, at Lackey Memorial Hospital in Forest. Visitation is 8:30-9:15 a.m. today at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest. Graveside services are 10 a.m. today in Homewood Methodist Cemetery in Homewood.

Mr. Windham was a native of Smith County and had been a resident of Forest for the past five years, formerly living in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Mr. Windham was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fort Smith, Ark. and attended the Forest Baptist Church in Forest. He served his country in World War II in the U.S. Army and he loved the reunions with his fellow Army buddies. Mr. Windham was an avid bridge player and golfer and he was a member of the American Legion Post No. 9 in Forest.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Lou Ray Windham, two brothers, Victor Windham and Roy Windham, and two sisters, Flora Windham Chisholm and Mable Windham Wooley and several nieces and nephews.

Survivors include: wife, Ruth Brantley Windham of Forest; step daughter, Susan Horn of Carthage; step son, Corvain Brantley, Jr. of Forest; and a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
