Daughter of the late W.D. "Billy" and Lu Vernnie Trimble Stringer, She was united in marriage to Mr. Dewey Burton, he preceded her in death after 34 years of marriage. Survivors include; one son, Tim and Janice Burton of Somerset, KY; and one brother, Herb Stringer of Cincinnati, Oh; the following grandchildren, Josh and Amanda Burton, Kristi and Gary Rowe, Mara Buton and Jennifer Jones,; and the following great grandchildren, Zackary Rowe, Morganna Rowe, and Samantha Jones. Alta was a retired Nursing Assistant.
