Letha Moore, a native of Logan, Ohio and resident of Abbeville, La, died Wednesday, October 3rd, 2018 at the age of 82. She loved fishing, sewing, and cooking, and was a devoted housewife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her two daughters – Mary Bellobuon and husband Frank, of Titusville, FL, and Cynthia Collins, of Abbeville, LA; nine grandchildren – Sean Haga, Leia Haga, Matt Hale, Josh Hale, Kristin Collins, Karl Fox, Kurt Fox, Sabrina Jeansonne, and Joseph Jeansonne; eight great-grandchildren – Thomas Fox, Wesley Fox, Breanna Crawford, Shayla Haga, Braylee Hale, Kera Wilson, T.J. Vernon, and Addyson Vernon; and her brother, Richard Hillyer and wife Barbara.
She was preceeded in death by her son, Jack Collins, Jr.; her daughter, Barbara Ann Collins; her brother, Charles Hillyer; and her husband, James Alexander Moore.
A celebration of her life will be announced at a later time.
Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff on the Neuro ICU for taking care of our mom! A wife, a mother, a grandma too, this is the legacy we have from you. You taught us love and how to fight, you gave us strength, you gave us might. A stronger person would be hard to find, and in your heart, you were always kind. You fought for us all in one way or another, not just as a wife not just as a mother. For all of us you gave your best, now the time has come for you to rest.
