Funeral services for Martha Jewel Bell Wallace, 75, of Calhoun will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 23 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Interment will follow at Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens in West Monroe. Visitation will be from 12-2 PM December 23 prior to the service at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.

Martha was born on December 13, 1943 in Longview, Texas to Oscar Wilson Bell and Mamie Corine Procell Bell. She passed away on December 21, 2018 in West Monroe after a lengthy illness. Martha was a Pediatric Nurse at Green Clinic in Ruston for many years.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Mamie Bell; brother, Rudy Bell; and son, Lance Bright.

Left to cherish Martha’s memory are her husband, Edward Mikell Wallace; daughter Toni Lyons and husband, Major Stanley M. Lyons, Sr. (Ret.) of Downsville; son Kenny Davis and wife Lynne of Calhoun; brothers, Lanny Bell of Kilgore, TX and Jim Bell of Ore City, TX; stepdaughters, Miranda Wallace and Kiley Wallace, and stepson Jay Wallace; grandchildren: Melissa Burtenshaw and husband Jason, Heather Skinner and husband David, and Lexi Davis; and great grandchildren: Eben Skinner and Omri Skinner.
