Born: Strausburg, France and died in Town Lima, Sheboygan County, WI.
Mrs. Christina Eby one of the oldest residents of Sheboygan county passed away at an early hour yesterday.
The deceased was 84 years
the cause of her death was general desability. She enjoyed good health up to
Mrs Eby was born in Germany on the boundry line of France and emigrated with her husband to this country and settled at Buffalo, N.Y. They lived there a few years and then came to this county taking up a claim.
The husband erected a log cabin and this was their home for many years.
They endured the hardships that fell to the lot of the pioneers of those days but they were contented.
Mrs. Eby was a woman who was happiest in her home, surrounded by the members of her family.
She is survived by eight children, John, Conover, Wis.; Nicholas and Michael of Sheboygan; Christian of Rhinelander, Wis., Mrs. Mary Clay,
Point; Philip of Cuba; Henry of Iowa; and Miss Christine at home.
Rev. Wildermuth of the Falls officiating, and interment will be in the Onion river cemetery.
