Ronnie Robert Rusk was born June 29, 1952 in Hayward, the son of John and Eunice (Mewhorter) Rusk. He grew up in Whitefish and attended Stone Lake Elementary School and graduated from Hayward High School. Ronnie worked for LCO Development for the past 40+ years. He was extremely proud of all the projects he was a part of and was quick to point out what all had the “RRR” stamp on it. Ronnie was known for his kindness, witty comebacks, humor, and respect he showed to people. He was a great man.
He is survived by his daughters Angela (John) Johnson, Rhonda “Dolly” Rusk; grandsons Cody and Jared Carley, Edison Johnson; brother Richard Rusk; sisters Carole Wielgot, Renee Rusk, Lori (Russ) Warwick; several nieces, nephews and his loyal dog CJ. Ronnie is also survived by his special friend Elaine DeBrot.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents John & Eunice; brothers Kenneth, John, Russell, Gerald, Robin and Rudy Rusk; sisters Wendy Lou and Alveretta; granddaughter Johnna; nephews Derreck Paull and John Rusk; niece Nichole Rusk
The Funeral Service was held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 10, 2017 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward with Rev. Gordon Thayer officiating. Music will be provided Sarah Taylor-Cormell. Burial was in Whitefish Cemetery. Visitation began at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, July 9th at the funeral home.
Honorary Casket Bearers were Dave Dennis, Jerome Isham, Dean Louis, Bruce Miller, Doug Potack, Donny Quaderer, Gary Quaderer Sr. and Rick Traver.
