Bill was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on Oct. 4, 1942. He graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1961. Bill worked at Crucible Steel for five years. He then worked at the GM Plant in Lordstown as a fabricator for 30 years until his retirement in 2000. He was a member of Boyce United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir and served as an usher.
Bill was preceded in death by his father Horace “Bill” Stoddard and his mother Dorothy Hager Stoddard Leemaster
Surviving are his wife of 57 years; two sons; daughter; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit Saturday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Rev. Alvin Talkington of Boyce United Methodist Church will conduct a funeral service Saturday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
