Funeral for Opal Nell Williams, 84 of Hillsboro will be Saturday December 29, 2018, at Parkway Funeral Home, at 12:00 PM with Bro. Larry Williams officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Williams, who died Thursday, December 20, 2018, at her residence, was born October 11, 1934, to Willie Elliott and Maggie Griffin Elliott. She was a baptized in 1981 under Douglas Harris at Danville Church of Christ . She enjoyed yard sales, and fishing buddy Angie Williams her daughter in law. She was preceded in death by her husband - James Williams and her parents.
Survivors include:
5 sons - Jerry Williams, Lonnie Williams, Van Williams, David Williams and Charles Williams
8 daughters - Glinda Emery, Patricia Carter, Margaret Williams, Betty Jean Brackin, Mary William, Tracy Williams, Betty Jo Williams and Sherley Ray
2 sisters - Lavern Taylor and Alice Williams
20 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jerry Williams, Cedric McDonalds, Donald Emery, Jeramiah Williams, Steve Wolf and David Pointer.
Donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
