Johnny O’Neil (Jay, “Grizz”) Watson, Jr., age 62 passed away on December 19, 2018. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jason Garcia officiating. Interment will follow in St. James Catholic Cemetery. Johnny was born on September 21, 1956 in Seguin, Texas to Johnny O’Neil (Buddy) Watson, Sr. and Jo Ann Stotzer Watson Chapman. He is preceded in death by his father, his step-father, Gerorge Herder, III, and his uncle, Raymond Stotzer, Jr. Survivors include his son, Johnny Jay Watson and wife Anita; granddaughter, Maria Elena; mother, Jo Ann Chapman and husband Ron; sister, Debi Trusler and husband Danny; nephew, Rhett Trusler and wife Leigh; grand-nieces, Sarah and Rachel; aunts, Lori Boyd and husband Ed, B. J. Jameson, and Jackie Johnson; numerous cousins, other loving family members and friends. Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice, 611 N.
