Mrs. Poole passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018. Born in Blaney, SC, on October 26, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Walter L. Miles and Lillie E. Owens Miles. She was the director of nursing at Kershaw County Memorial for many years. Mrs. Poole and her late husband, Freddie Rex Poole, Sr., ran Cajun Country in Lugoff after retirement. She enjoyed gardening and reading.
Surviving are her children, Linda P. Melcher (Bernie) and Freddie Rex Poole, Jr.; granddaughter, April M. Meadows (Marlond); sister, Gloria Squires (Ellison). She was predeceased by her siblings, Doris Fulmer, Faye Duich, Buster Miles, Billy Miles, Emmadora Bilbo and Mildred Branham.
