Canton- Kendra Michele Johnson, age 41, a beautiful young lady that brought into this world- happiness, joy and a multitude of love to her family and everyone who knew her, was carried home by the angels on Sunday, November 18, 2018.

Kendra was born November 1, 1977 and had resided in Canton all of her life. Even at a young age she was blessed with a delightful and outgoing personality. Kendra never ever met a stranger and she always made new friends wherever she went. The special times she spent outdoors were happy times and Kendra could often be found heading to her favorite fishing spot. Staying home and watching a movie was also a fun day for her. When Kendra entered a room no one could ever ignore her presence. Her natural beauty, her unforgettable eyes, her happy laughter and her friendly smile, but most importantly her kind and caring heart touched everyone. When we speak her name, we will remember the joy that she brought into this world and we will always cherish the great love that she held in her heart for her family. Kendra will forever be a part of us and we believe that she will always be smiling as she watches down over us from Heaven each day. We are thankful for our beautiful angel, Kendra Michele Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Eddie and Marietta Cogburn and her paternal grandfather, Ray Johnson.

Surviving are her mother, Kathy Cogburn Johnson of Clyde; her father, Billy Johnson and his wife, Brenda of Candler; her brother, Stacey Johnson and Lisa Parker of Canton; her paternal grandmother, Sandra Johnson of Canton; her step-brother, David Calloway and Shelly of Woodfin; a step-sister, Lisa McMinn of Asheville; uncles, Jimmy Cogburn of Canton and Kelly Johnson and Atea of Canton; an aunt, Kim Jackson and David Cutshall of Canton; cousins, Ava and Ella Johnson and Kane Jackson; also Kendra’s fur baby dog, “ Bo-Bo” and many friends that loved her dearly.
