Roy is survived by his granddaughter, Gabriel Johnson of the home; daughters, Letha Garrett, Connie Dollar; brothers, Orvale Gates of Exeter, VA, Ray Garrett of East Stone Gap, VA, Ernest Garrett of TN, Rick Garrett of Jonesville of VA, Oakie Garrett of Big Stone Gap, VA; sisters, Brenda Boyles of IN, Doris Garrett of Dryden, VA.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 10 am to 12 noon at the Roy A. Green Funeral Home, Appalachia with services beginning at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Bob Maggard. Interment will follow in the Gates Cemetery, Keokee, VA.
