He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister, Agnes Floyd. Surviving are 2 children. Deanna (Ted) Knauss, Greg Floyd both of Elkhart, 2 grandchildren, Corbin Floyd, Jayse Knauss, 2 brothers, Harold (Brenda) Floyd of Mishawaka, Albert Floyd of Osceola and 1 sister Linda (Skip) Miller of Lubbock, Texas. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. Michael was known to many as “papa”.
Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the 1:00 p.m. Monday December 24, 2018 service at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Pastor Rick Pirtle from the Riverview General Baptist Church will preside and burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
Michael graduated from Penn High School in 1968 and retired from Nickels Bakery as a Route Sales Representative after 32 years of service. Michael started playing the drums as a teenage and continued to play his entire life. Also in his spare time he enjoyed golfing.
