Mark was born February 27, 1961 in Arlington to Richard L. and Joyce D. Smith, Jr. He had been employed with Clark Moving and Delivery and had worked on a dairy farm. Mark was a member of Northwest Baptist Church in Arlington, and felt has most important achievement in life was professing his faith in Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Richard L. Smith, Jr.; and his sister, Debra Kay Smith.
He is survived by his mother Joyce Smith; sister, Pam Tomlin and husband, Reuben; and two nephews.
