McNEAL, Robert Poole "Bob" died peacefully in his home at Brookdale Assisted Living in Clearwater, Florida November 19, 2018, at the age of 96. Mr. McNeal is survived by his cousins Richard, Tracey, and Melissa Partin and Joanne O'Connor and many close friends. His wife, Hermenegilda "Mene" Aliano of Madrid, Spain, preceded him in death. Mr. McNeal was born March 2, 1922 in Sharon, Pennsylvania to Ira and Virginia Poole McNeal. He was a veteran of both World War II and the Korean War. He retired from the Air Force in 1982, having earned the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. Mr. McNeal loved dogs of all shapes and sizes and had a sharp sense of humor. For many years, he was very active in the choir at Hampton Retirement Community. Mr. McNeal's ashes will be interred at Bay Pines National Cemetery in St. Petersburg, FL.
