Born February 11, 1933 at Monticello, she was the daughter of the late Stacy Youngblood and Myrdis Donaldson Youngblood.
Mrs. Hamilton was a 1951 graduate of White Hall High School and a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church.
A homemaker first and foremost, she retired from Dollarway School District after 20 years of service.
Mrs. Hamilton enjoyed preparing meals for her family, socializing with her buddies and spoiling her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Louis Hamilton; sons, Randy and Bruce Hamilton; and a brother, Lloyd Youngblood.
Mrs. Hamilton is survived by her children, Steve Hamilton (Vikki), Mark Hamilton (Melanie) and Leesa Kappler (Bob); daughter-in-law, Donna Hamilton; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends.
