Jennifer, affectionately known as J.J. to family and friends, was born on December 13, 1966 to Johnny L. Patterson and Judi Roach Patterson in Ruston, LA. She left this earthly life on December 16, 2018 after a sudden illness while living in Grand Prairie,TX.
Jennifer graduated from Cedar Creek High School in 1984 and attended Louisiana Tech University. She worked as a paralegal for over 25 years in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Jennifer loved to perform and was a very talented singer/pianist. She was a participant in pageants, talent shows, and choir while in school. As an adult, Jennifer was involved with the Scarborough Renaissance Festival in Waxahachie, TX. Jennifer was a kind hearted person and loved animals of all types.
She was preceded in death by her parents, paternal grandparents, Exie Farris Brown and Dan Patterson, step-grandfather, Ralph E. Brown, and her maternal grandparents, Inez and P.D. Roach.
Left to cherish her memory are aunt, Dr. Virginia Roach Pennington of Ruston, LA; uncle, Farris Patterson and wife Misty of West Monroe, LA; cousins, Crystal Patterson of West Monroe, LA and Dr. Jared Patterson and wife Susan of Memphis, TN and lifelong friend, Amy Hendricks.
Pallbearers will be Bill Alexander, Adam Farris, J.D. Farris, Joey Farris, Mike Farris, and Kirk Weir.
Visitation will be at 1pm on Saturday, December 22 in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home, Farmerville.
