The angel of death has again visited our quiet hamlet and has taken for its own A. M. Dana, of New York City, who died at the residence of Dr. P. W. Shufelt, Aug. 28, of consumption, at the early age of 32 years. He came here to spend the summer and for improvement of his health. The funeral services were held at the house on Friday afternoon at one o'clock, Rev. J. C. Garretson, of West Copake, officiating, after which his remains were placed in their last resting place in the West Copake Cemetery.
