He was born on June 22, 1943 to Carl and Mary (Hagen) Engle in Muskegon, MI. On September 10, 1966, he married Kathleen Ann Richardson. David was preceded in death by the love of his life "Kathy" just 2 months ago.
David leaves behind nieces and nephews: Allen (Karen) Engle, RoseMary (RGene) Fair, Elaine (Randy) LaNore, Susan Engle, Roberta (Denny) Spliedt, Anita (Kevin) Speet, Michael Engle and Ellen VandeVusse; and many cousins, grandnieces, grandnephews and dear friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 20 from 5-7 P.M. and the funeral will be held Friday, December 21 at 11 A.M. with Pastor Keith Sandison officiating at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI. Burial to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery in Fruitport.
