HARTSELLE — Funeral service for Steve Morgan, 67, of Hartselle will be Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at noon at Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church with Father Wayman officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. He will lie in state from 11 a.m. to noon. Burial will be in Falkville City Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 5 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mr. Morgan died on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at his residence. He was born August 16, 1951, in Gadsden to William D. Morgan and Betty J. Stephens Morgan. Mr. Morgan was a member of the Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Jean Phillips and Debbie West; one brother, Ricky Morgan and one son, B.J. Morgan. Mr. Morgan had a distinguished career in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran and retired after 21 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Sheila Byrne Morgan; one son, Stephen Morgan (Sally); four brothers, Johnny Morgan, Terry Morgan, Jerry Morgan and Vance Morgan; three sisters, Blanche Irvin, Robin Bruce and Patty Sutton; one granddaughter, AnaBeth Morgan; and one grandson, William Morgan.

The Military will serve as pallbearers.
