Siblings Margaret, Gillies, Leonard and Janet. Hugh was living west of Chesley during the 1911 census, lot 21 conc 2 of Elderslie. Hugh was drafted WWI May 15, 1918 at London, his father was living RR3 Chesley. Presbyterian, 5' 6 1/2", 150 lbs, grey eyes, brown hair. To England, 26 July 1918 on SS Pannonia, served Witley. Hospitalized Bramshott with mumps 18 Aug 1918. Demobilized 6 July 1919, was heading to Stoney Beach, Saskatchewan.
