Judy L. Tyler, 76, of Lavonia, GA died Sunday December 16, 2018 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA, after suffering burns at her home on Friday December 14, 2018. She was the wife of John L. Tyler.

Born in Habersham County, GA, June 21, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Loyd Nation and Ruth Fitzgerald Nation, and spent most of her life in Habersham County. She was a custodian for the South Carolina Welcome Center and was of the Baptist faith.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Loyd and Ruth Nation, by two sons. Jody Frady and Randy Frady, by a sister Susie Frady and by a brother David Nation and is survived by her husband, John L. Tyler of the home, two sons Robby Frady, and Tony Frady and one step-son John Tyler, and one step daughter, Kathy Day., one brother, Ray Nation, three sisters, Betty Kinsey, Carolyn Dodd, and Marylon Sims, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00pm Tuesday December 19, 2018 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Ledbetter officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Tiger, GA. The body is at Hunter Funeral Home with visitation at the funeral home from 1:00pm to 2:00pm (the funeral hour). The family is at their respective residences.
