John "Jack" Begley fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the age of 72. Beloved son of the late Edward and Bernice (nee-Cleary) Begley; loving husband of 45 years to Pattie (nee-Guccione) Begley; dear father of Patrick Begley and wife Keri, Matthew Begley and wife Lauren, cherished grandfather of Riley, Patrick Jr., Mitchell, Anabelle and Harrison; dear brother of Ed Begley and wife Connie, Jim Begley and wife Kathy, Theresa Benoist and husband Larry, Betty Begley and the late Mary Begley, Bonnie Begley and Father Tom Begley; cherished brother in law, uncle, great uncle, Godfather, cousin and friend to many.
Jack proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was an avid golfer and reader. He was known for his great sense of humor, loyalty, friendship and compassion, his greatest joy was his family and spending time with his grandkids.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2018 From 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral and Cremation Center, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Charles, A second memorial visitation will be held from 9:00 am up until Mass at 10:00 am on Friday, December 21, 2018 at St. Patrick Catholic Church 405 S Church St. Wentzville. Memorial donations appreciated to Backstoppers St. Louis or Holy Adoration Sisters.
