Carolyn Howell, age 82, of Mableton, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016. A Georgia native, Mrs. Howell retired from Sears Roebuck. She worked in retail catalogue sales as an order clerk, and in her free time, enjoyed reading.
Survivors include her son, Rick and wife Susan Glow, of Spartanburg, South Carolina; daughter, Hilda and husband Barry Quarles of Calhoun; brother, Gordon and wife Mary Ann Smith, of Snellville; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Mrs. Howell is preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Howell, who passed away in 2012.
The family received friends on Sunday, February 14, 2016, at 1:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM in our chapel. Rev. W.J. Reid officiated. Interment followed at Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens
