DADE CITY, FLORIDA - James Edward “Jim” Bandy, Sr. age 78, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 12, 2018. He was born September 12, 1940 in Squire WVA, the son of the late George Walter and Clarice Dove Shrader Bandy. He was of the Baptist faith and a proud veteran of the U.S. Airforce. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include his wife: Vada Musick Bandy; one daughter: Lisa Lynn Bandy of Dade City, FL; one son: James Edward Bandy, Jr. of Zephyrhills, FL: Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for James E. “Jim” Bandy, Sr. will be 12:00 p.m. noon Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in the Combs Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev Roy Lee Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Ketron Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be conducted by VFW Post #9864. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2018.
