Frank Delno Long, 80, Rogersville, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 in his home.
He was born December 9, 1938 in Battlefield, Missouri, the son of the late Walter W. and Fern (Barrett) Long, Sr. He was united in marriage on October 3, 1957 to Delores Ruth Long. She preceded him in death October 18, 1989. On November 9, 1990 he married Sharon Kay Howard. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Clell, Red, Kenny and Robert Long.
Frank was employed for many years with Long Plumbing and Heating Co. and the Springfield School System in the plumbing and welding department before his retirement. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed working on his Allis-Chalmers Tractors.
He is survived by his wife Sharon; three sons, Frank Long and his wife Robin, Alan Long and his wife Rhonda, and James Long; a step-daughter, Joy Alsup and her husband Lance; a brother, Jesse Long and his wife Terri; twelve grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, his brother-in-law of 59 years, Milton Howard and his wife Linda; his sister-in-law, Lorraine Howard.
Burial in Clear Creek Cemetery, Springfield.
