Christopher Cody Shearer, age 36, husband to Nicolette Eblen Shearer and father to Ty Colten Shearer, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 in Georgetown. He was born July 24, 1982 in Georgetown, Kentucky. Cody was a member of The Roads Church in Norris City, Illinois and truly loved Jesus Christ! He was a U.K. Fan, enjoyed fishing, hunting, and felt very blessed to have his son and enjoyed spending time with him. In addition to Nicolette and Ty he is survived by his parents, Dianne Linville (Doug) Marshall of Stamping Ground, Kentucky and Samuel "Sonny" (Julie) Shearer of Norris City, Illinois, his brother Samuel Jason Shearer of Stamping Ground, uncles and aunts, Sue Carol (Doug) Michael, Bill (Beverly) Linville, Cindy (Glenn) Tucker, Ken (Laura) Shearer, Gina (Scott) Murphy and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Samuel J. and Margaret Jean Shearer, and maternal grandparents Alva L. Linville and Euna Vance Linville. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery, Georgetown, Kentucky.
