They were the parents of at least 4 children, but divorced in September of 1917. Libby died in 1918.
Charles was employed as an ironworker when he lived in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri later in life.
On 20 May 1937, Charles took his own life. He died of a shotgun wound to the head.
He was buried on 24 May 1937.
