Caroline was the daughter of Carl John and Sarah Louise Johanna (Carlson) Samuelson. She was born in Sweden. The family came to the United States in 1869, first to Geneseo (Henry County, Illinois, then to Bethesda, Page County, Iowa. The family then moved to Kansas. She married C J Falk. They lived in Page City, Logan County, Kansas,
then to Edgar, Neb., and in 1908, located on a
farm northwest of Jamestown, Kansas.
