On Wednesday December 12th, 2018, Bill I. Webb, loving husband and father, passed away at the age of 65 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born to Milton and Mary Webb on November 26th, 1953 in Valdosta, Georgia and was one of 5 boys.

He was married to his beautiful bride of 43 years, Linda S. Webb (Staley) on May 24th, 1975. He served his country for 6 years as a private in the Air Force. He then received a Bachelor’s degree in Education, spending his time teaching those who struggled with learning, and ending his time as a nursing assistant and medication technician to care for the elderly in need.

He was a quiet man that you could always count on, he would support you when needed, and he would show love and affection to his family without hesitation. He was a true gentleman. He enjoyed Jaguar football, teaching his grandson how to fish, photography, and spending time with his family. He will always be remembered for his gentle, calm nature.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Murray Webb. He is survived by his wife Linda, daughter Christy, son-in-law Sean, grand-son Padric, and his three remaining brothers, Paul, David, and Franklin, and their families, as well as two great-Aunts and cousins.

A ceremony will be held at the Jacksonville National Cemetery with military honors on Friday December 21st, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Those attending the ceremony are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior. Due to the nature of the ceremony, any flowers will need to be sent to the family directly. Hatcher Cremations
